ARBOR BRYAN IGUCHI PRO MODEL, $595, WITH CYPRESS BINDINGS, $TBD

ARBOR BRYAN IGUCHI PRO MODEL, $595, WITH CYPRESS BINDINGS, $TBD

The latest collection of snowboards by Venice, California's Arbor Collective is the most comprehensive in their 20-year history on snow. The new line-up is built on the strength its "The System" tech, which improves both rocker and camber shapes without hybridizing the two together.

Arbor's fleet is helmed by the new Bryan Iguchi Pro Model. This big mountain twin designed by "Guch" features "The Camber System" and sports a slightly tapered tail and longer nose for sniffing out pow. The Camber System designs lift up tip and tail edges eliminating the leverage required to release and re-engage a snowboard’s outside contact points while creating a highly effective, more direct connection to the snow. Combined with an aggressive side, this stick slays steep lines, rips through the trees, turns on a dime and floats like a dream. Completing the package is a beautiful wood top sheet and graphic by the man himself.

Arbor also introduces it's first collection of snowboard bindings: Hemlock and Cypress. Bolt on The Hemlock for freestyle flex or The Hemlock for rigid freeride performance. Either way, both Arbor bindings are designed with minimal plastic in the baseplates and diminutive mounting discs to maximize energy transfer from boot to board.
