High in Colorado's Summit County, forecasts are calling for up to a foot of fluff throughout the weekend and into Monday. That's on top of the 8-plus feet that's fallen since March 1. The pow promises to elevate Breckenridge's Spring Fever Festival and closing week. Here's what you need to know to rock the mountain and apres-ski scene.

Breckenridge Spring Fever Festival Schedule

Friday, April 15: Spring Fever Park Jam

With four terrain parks and a 22-foot superpipe, Breck is the West's freestyle capital. You better bring your "A" game and original style to the annual Park Jam at Park Lane. Prizes include season passes, cash, and big ups from Breck's Epic Pro Crew, including X-Games champ Bobby Brown.

Saturday, April 23: The Imperial Challenge

This winterized triathlon is celebrating its 25th year. Mr. Luxury Ski enjoys earning his turns as much as the next guy, but this Breck tradition may be a bit much: Bike or run from Breckenridge Recreation Center to the base of Peak 8 (six miles, elevation 9,800 feet) and then hike, skin, or snowshoe 3,000 vertical feet to the top of Peak 8 (elevation, 12,998). From there the race is on for the ski, tele, or snowboard descent to the base, where Mr. Luxury Ski will be there to toast your finish. Pre-register ($50) at MavSports.com or register day of ($60.)

Sunday, April 24: Closing Day Cowboy BBQ

Whether or not you complete The Imperial Challenge, close out the season right with a meaty BBQ on the patio at One Ski Hill Place at the Peak 8 base area. The party includes a chili cook-off, live music...and a mechanical bull, naturally.
